Synopsis
Dris and Yanis, two young guys on the block, choose crime as a way out of the concrete jungle. Petty break-ins lead to daring hold-ups; Dris and Yanis become experts at their craft. Their crew: Niglo the Gypsy, Foued the son of Senegalese immigrants, Nina the beautiful Gypsy thief who’s in love with Dris.
Today Dris is turning 33. Today he is being released from prison after serving a four-year stint. Today he’s going to settle down. He wants to lead a calm life with Lise, a woman he met before going to jail. She knows about his violent past and refuses to condone it.
But things have changed while Dris has been inside. Yanis is now a boss, respected and feared by all and sundry. A shady character, he lives each day as if it’s his last. However he has an Achille’s heel: he needs Dris. Believing that they’re invincible together, he does everything he can to draw his old buddy back into the fold. He finally gets his way and Dris agrees to participate in one last job.
But they’ve forgotten about Flèche. Prime mover and shaker on the Paris night scene, he’s also the sworn enemy of Yanis and his gang. Flèche wrecks his vengeance by way of Mel, Dris’ younger brother, a kid who dreams of imitating Yanis and becoming a legendary gangster…
