Synopsis
Paris, July 1942. It’s not an easy time for anyone. Edmond Batignole, an ordinary man, is a storekeeper trying to survive like everybody else. He also lets himself be dragged down by the people around him and by his own cowardice. Then Simon, a young Jewish boy, appears in his life and Edmond awakens to the vileness of his deeds…
