Synopsis
In India, in a district of Old Delhi, a man leads a retentless day-to-day struggle against History, against his times, against human weaknesses, and also against God. Guru Hanuman Ji has chosen to offer up his life to his country and its children. Having founded a school for street urchins, he not only teaches them kushti, a traditional form of combat fought in a ring of mud, but also man's daily struggle against his destiny. A meeting with this 98-year-old-man, born at the beginning of the century and nourished on the ideas of liberation and independence: a living legend of struggle in India.
