Mani Kongo is an old king. He sends his daughter , Mwana , to study in Belgium while she is still little. Twenty years later he has no word from her and so he goes to hunt for her in Belgium. Mani Kongo’s stay there is no picnic; he runs into some surprising characters such as Chaka Jo, the fake taxi driver and Jefke, a ex-colonial administrator who is now police commissioner in the African quarter of Brussels, or Viva Wa Viva, a Young "show-off" AKA the young Noubia
Will the journey back to Africa of these people whose identities are in pieces, allow them to be at peace with themselves? The film is dedicated to the African Diaspora.
