Synopsis
In times gone by, it would have been called a den of iniquity: now it's just a provincial night club, near the train station, with "hostesses" and a strip show. One evening a group of friends on a binge, all shopkeepers in the same street, come there to party. Among them are Jean-Marie and his wife Nicole. Fifteen years of love and fidelity, in a dry cleaners in the town center, working like slaves, scouring the slightest stain... No holidays, no outings... And then one evening, everything changes... On stage at "La Nuit des Temps" appears a young boy, disturbing to say the least, doing a transvestite number with his sister. His name is Loïc, he looks like an angel and he's playing it up. For Nicole and Jean-Marie this is the start of a new life: dry-cleaners by day, and out on the tiles by night... At first they play along, for the pleasure of strong sensations, for the thrill... Then, in time, deeper feelings surface. Unthinkable feelings...

About
"If I had played with lesser people, I'd surely have been terrible. Everyone was very trusting of me, especially Anne, but also Charles Berling and Miou-Miou. In them I felt two actors in tune with my beginnings. I was also very impressed with Caroline Champetier. I felt supported, but not safe. I suppose one is never really safe in front of a camera. I didn't control it, I didn't hear myself speak. I had wanted to master a certain vocal register, but I couldn't; it just came out like it did. It's best not to ask too many questions and just go for it." (Stanislas Merhar)
