The GR20 is a well-known hiking route in Corsica that crosses magnificent yet varied terrain. To appreciate it, you must enjoy walking, nature and the unexpected. However, you mustn't be too fond of creature comforts. The story begins when three guys and two girls laden down with backpacks follow the GR20 across the Island of Beauty. It all seems so simple... but the adventure brings them face to face with several problems because, when it comes to emotions, everyone is searching for someone else. Will they find serenity at the end of the trail? As Eric profoundly says when describing the splendid countryside, "This is where you really discover who you are!"

About
As far as we knew, there was no other film on the theme of hiking. More than one million people practise this leisure activity in France and the number is on the rise each year. Most of the hikers come from the large cities or from Paris and do their 15 or 20 km a day before sleeping in tents or hostels. In theory, this physical activity is good for both the body and the mind, allowing walkers to get out into the open air, meditate and see places. But the lighthearted adventure can soon turn into a nightmare when tiredness and promiscuity rear their unpleasant heads. Then, it's no longer a matter of getting out into the open. As for meditation... (Philippe Harel)
