Synopsis
From "The Barber of Seville" to "The Marriage of Figaro", the "delirious decade" of Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais: unscrupulous businessman, visionary but self-interested politician, brave swashbuckler with word and sword, incorrigible lover of women and litigation but a ferocious defender of human rights, inventor of genius and, incidentally, the author of a handful of forgotten melodramas and two unforgettable masterpieces.
