Synopsis
A poor young peasant tries to escape from his life, which he finds worthless. He decides to burglarize an old miser in the village. Unfortunately, the man is at home when the young man breaks into his house, and he stabs him to death. Now guilt-ridden, the young peasant has no other choice but to leave his village. But he won't go very far.
