Clement Michel at 35 years old is already an accomplished actor, author and director. His first play, Le Carton, proved a smash hit in France, where it was performed more than 800 times, as well as abroad (Italy and Poland). In 2004, he writes its screen adaptation. Le Carton, directed by Charles Nemes (starring Omar & Fred) and distributed by Warner, is released in 250 cinemas.
In parallel to acting and playwriting (Début de fin de soirée, Le Grand Bain…), he directs a first short film, produced by Sombrero Films, Bébé, selected by many French and foreign festivals. His second short, A Whore and a Chick, pre-selected for the 2011 Césars, has already garnered 10 prizes at festivals. He's currently preparing his first feature film, Thomas Platz Has a Baby, once again produced by Sombrero Films.
