Biography
François Bertrand founded the CLPB Media group, which brought together three complementary entities: Camera Lucida (performing arts and cultural magazines), CPB Films (fiction and documentaries), and Lucid Realities (a studio specializing in immersive programs).
Notable productions from recent years include the series A Prophet (8×52', Canal+), Icon of French Cinema (6×30', Arte, in coproduction with A24), as well as several major documentaries: Magellan’s Extraordinary Odyssey (4×52', coproduced with Arte, Portugal, Spain, and Belgium), Beyond the Far Side (90' and 52', coproduced with France Télévisions and China Media Group), and Burgess, Clockwork Orange: The Prophecy (52', coproduced with Arte).
More recently, Ravel in a Thousand Sparkles (80’), by François-René Martin and Gordon, won the Grand Prize at Golden Prague in the performing arts capture category.
These companies are now part of the Incognita Studio Group, led by Édouard de Vesinne. As for Lucid Realities, it spun off from the group and created Unframed Collection, a distribution platform dedicated to immersive programs, with CLPB Media remaining a shareholder.
