After a series of disastrous encounters, she meets Julien, a carefree and joyful Frenchman, who has come to New York to work on a film that ultimately doesn’t go into production. Nora allows herself a moment to be convinced by Julien’s carefreeness, but fearing a new failed love affair, she refuses to believe in it and lets Julien return to France.
