Synopsis
In Dinard, in the summer holidays, Gaspard is waiting for Léna. He meets Margot, an ethnology student who waits on tables in a restaurant to make a little cash. One evening, she takes him to a party where he meets Solène. Léna at last arrives in Dinard... Is Gaspard's heart really torn between the three of them ?

"Rohmer is a filmmaker whom I admire for his work and also for his integrity, independance and simplicity. He gives everyone a rare feeling of liberty, he controls his films at every level (production, direction, music, editing, promotion). Yet he always includes others in this creative process. The shooting of "Summer Tale" was merry, playful and eventful : a blend of holidays and great concentration. We formed a small, tight crew devoted to our director, all trying to do our best to please him. I admire Rohmer as a filmmaker and as a man."
