Synopsis
Caught on camera by a paparazzi with his mistress Eléna, a stunning top model, millionaire Pierre Levasseur attempts to avoid a messy divorce by inventing an outrageous lie. He makes use of a passerby’s presence in the photo, claiming that it is he, François Pignon, who is with Eléna. Pignon, a valet, is a humble, simple guy. To make his lie hold, Levasseur is obliged to send the too-beautiful Eléna to live with Pignon. Eléna living in Pignon’s house is like a bird of paradise in a canary cage – and the catalyst of many an adventure.
