One of many

A Feature film by Jo Béranger, Doris Buttignol

Produced by Lardux Films

Release in France : 05/01/2005

    Synopsis

From the Yukon to southern Alberta, Sally’s quest reawakens the memories of several generations of First Nation children removed from their parents‚ care. Sally’s personal story brings a neglected chapter of First Nation history out into the open and sheds new light on the issues at stake in the present struggle for the control of education. Acculturation, loss of identity, suffering, but also healing and hope for the generations ahead - these are the different stages of the journey that we experience with Sally.
