Olivier is vacationing in Corsica, in the mountain village where he was born, with his partner Marianne, who is three months' pregnant.
It’s a peaceful vacation – until the day that Olivier becomes the only witness to a murder. Half-Corsican, half-mainlander, Olivier is afraid: should he abide by the island’s traditional law of silence, thereby becoming an accomplice to the crime, or denounce an acquaintance at the risk of being excluded by the community?
