4 months before its French release, Small World by Bruno Chiche received its world premiere in Berlin during the 10th French Film Week.
Small World opened the 10th French Film Week, of which Unifrance is a partner, on December 1. Bruno Chiche, Gérard Depardieu and Françoise Fabian went to Berlin for the occasion. The screening took place in the Cinéma Paris. a 600-seat movie theater.
The film was enthusiastically greeted with a standing ovation and the team gave many interviews to the main German media. Majestic will release the film in Germany on December 16.
The French Film Week, organised by the Ambassade de France in Germany, took place from December 1 through 8. As well as Small World seven other films were presented: The Edge (Real Fiction), in the presence of Géraldine Bajard, Felix Brossard, Melvil Poupaud, and Hippolyte Girardot, Think Global, Act Rural(Alamode), With Love From the Age of Reason(Schwarz-Weiss), in the presence of Yann Samuell, OSS 117: Lost in Rio, On Tour La Danse, The Paris Opera Ballet (Kool), in the presence of Frederick Wiseman, My Afternoons with Marguerite (Concorde), and Of Gods and Men (NFP).
