French films are particularly well-represented in Austria at the end of this
month of April.
The 11th Vienna Francophone Film Festival (FFF), to be held from April 23 through 30, will welcome visits by Yolande Moreau, Anne Bennent, Martin Provost, and Marc Abdelnour for the screening of Séraphine, which is this year's festival opener.
Sylvie Verheyde will also be in attendance to present Stella, prior to traveling to Linz for the Crossing Europe Festival.
Other festival guests include Anna Novion and Jean-Pierre Darroussin for Les Grandes Personnes. Following the event, they will embark on a promotional tour for the film in Germany (in Munich on April 27 and Berlin on April 28).
Rémi Bezançon, who will also be present at the event to accompany his film
Le premier jour du reste de ta vie (The First Day of the Rest of Your Life)
is currently in Germany (in Berlin on April 15, Munich on April 16, and
Hamburg on April 17).
