Dominique Blanc was awarded the Volpi Cup for Best Actress this evening for her role in L'Autre by Patrick-Mario Bernard and Pierre Trividic.
Werner Schroeter, who represented France with his film qui Nuit de chien (aka Tonight and This Night) was also presented with a Special Lion Award in honor of his career in the movie industry.
The Franco-Ethiopian co-production Teza by Haile Gerima picked up the Special Jury Prize.
The Critics’ Week Prize was given to L'Apprenti by Samuel Collardey.
