The 25th Moscow International Film Festival got underway Friday, June 20, and will continue until July 29 this year.
The following French films have been selected at the festival: "Il est plus facile pour un chameau…" by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, "Secret Things" by Jean-Claude Brisseau, "Swimming Pool" by François Ozon, "His Brother" by Patrice Chéreau, "Chouchou" by Merzak Allouache, "Strange Gardens" by Jean Becker, "Bienvenue chez les Rozes" by Francis Palluau, "Leave Your Hands on My Hips" by Chantal Lauby, "Divine Intervention" by Elia Suleiman, "Les Invasions barbares" ("The Barbarian Invasions") by Denis Arcand, "September 11" by Amos Gitai and "Le Temps du loup" ("The Time of the Wolf") by Michael Haneke.
"Callas Forever," directed by Franco Zeffirelli, will be screened at the closing ceremony.
The French delegaton present at the event is composed of Sophie Marceau, Marysa Borini, Fanny Ardant, Ludivine Sagnier and François Ozon.
