Four French films are to be presented at the 55th Cannes International Film Festival.
Four films will represent France this year at Cannes in the Official Competition:
- "L'Adversaire" by Nicole Garcia
- "Marie-Jo Et Ses Deux Amours" by Robert Guédiguian
- "Demonlover" by Olivier Assayas
- "Irreversible" by Gaspar Noé
On May 15, it will be over to Woody Allen to inaugurate the 55th Festival, presenting his new film, "Hollywood Ending" (out of competition). Claude Lelouch's film "And Now...Ladies & Gentlemen," starring Jeremy Irons and Patricia Kaas, will close the festival on May 26.
