Held from March 15 to 19, the 17th edition of this Austrian festival dedicated to female animators once again gave a special place to French productions.
Aurore Peuffier, Delphine Priet-Mahéo, Stéphanie Cadoret, Lisa Matuszak, Dahee Jeong, Janice Nadeau, Alma Gastrein, Noémi Gruner, Clémentine Frère, Aurore Gal, Anna Mertz... A total of 11 French directors whose work has been selected at the Viennese festival will be present at the event to highlight the diversity of French animation and the talent of this new generation of female directors.
As a sidebar to the main competition, the festival also held a number of workshops, a "Carte Blanche" program of Japanese animated films, and an Austrian Panorama.
