For the tenth edition of the Courts Devant festival, which took place from November 24 through 30, 2014, Unifrance contributed to the Parisian event hosted by Julie Gayet.
Upholding its mission of promoting French cinema, Unifrance gave an award to the Franco-Hungarian coproduction Limp Like That by Petra Szöcs. The film will benefit from financial support destined for subtitling, thus facilitating its international career.
Composed of personalities of the 7th art, including actors Lambert Wilson and Virginie Ledoyen, the jury also praised the work of producer Anaïs Bertrand (Insolence Productions) and awarded several French shorts: The Wall by Andra Tévy, Daphné or the Lovely Specimen by Sébastien Laudenbach and Sylvain Derosne, Habana by Édouard Salier, Brame by Sophie-Charlotte Gautier and Anne Loubet, La Femme de Rio by Emma Luchini and Nicolas Rey, The Man Who Lost His Head, by Fred Joyeux, A Day Out in Paris, by Carine May & Hakim Zouhani, and Zero, de Tony T. Datis
