A tribute will be paid to the French actress at the 50th Chicago International Film Festival, which will take place from October 9-23, 2014.
Four films selected by Ms. Huppert (The Comedy of Power by Claude Chabrol, Copacabana by Marc Fitoussi, The Piano Teacher by Michael Haneke, and White Material by Claire Denis) will illustrate the tribute paid by the Chicago Festival to this "chameleon actress."
The French star will also be in the spotlight at the exhibition entitled Women in Portraits to be held at the Alliance Française in Chicago (free entry), which will showcase the work of 17 celebrated photographers, including Robert Doisneau, Peter Lindbergh, and Edouard Boubat.
