Synopsis
Present-day France : Two very old ladies live in a very old chateau. It is very big and very dilapidated, but still contains a lot of precious furniture and objects. One is the owner, the other is not, but both women are lively, funny, swift and energetic. All day long they observe and listen, on the radio or with their walkman, to today's strange and worrying events of war, disaster, chaos, ideological conflict, fanaticism, violence, and terrorism. The news seems to get worse day by day - the ladies become increasingly bewildered and odd. Just where will it all lead ?...
