Synopsis
At the peak of her fame, Romy Schneider gave German feminist and journalist Alice Schwarzer an interview, over the course of one night, in French–the language of intimacy. Away from the cameras, Romy confided in Alice about her schism between icon and woman, her acting career, her relationship with Germany, and the social projections of the era that were cast onto her. 40 years later, Alice revisits that extraordinary night.
