The Test of Love
Synopsis
Marielle's whole world collapses when she finds her husband Paul wearing one of her dresses.
They’ve been married for 20 years, yet she has never suspected his unease. She doesn’t even know that there is such a thing as "normal" men who wear women's clothes.
He is ashamed and wants to believe that he can go on living in the skin of this man that disgusts him. But he’s been stifling his true nature for so long that it could suffocate him.
But now the breach is open and he can no longer live this farce. And when he attempts suicide, his wife realises that his life means much more to her than his appearance. She loves his true self more than the person he pretends to be. Convinced that their love will allow them to reinvent their life together, she braves the reaction of others and tries to explain the situation to their children with a message of tolerance and hope.
