Synopsis
Years after Cristèle’s sudden disappearance, Mahé reunites with her childhood sweetheart at the abandoned Catholic boarding school where they once studied. Their reunion brings back painful memories: their romantic same-sex relationship, cut short by the unsolved murder of Anissa, their mutual friend. Against all odds, Cristèle reveals that she was locked away in a conversion camp by her father—the boarding school’s former headmaster, an authoritarian man—to cure her of her homosexuality. But the joy of their reunion turns into a nightmare when Cristèle's father suddenly shows up. Hiding, Mahé discovers that he is implicated in Anissa’s murder.
