A century after his death, Felix Vallotton's art has lost none of its power or modernity. Long before Magritte, Dali or Balthus, he confronted us with our desires, our anxieties and our impulses. His images still speak to us today.
The film examines the artist and his work and attempts to unravel the mystery of this impenetrable man, thanks to unprecedented access to his works and archives.
