Synopsis
In December 1979, Soviet troops entered Afghanistan. The intervention of Soviet troops in Afghanistan was a pivotal event in 20th-century history... which launched Al Qaeda and Bin Laden. This war changed the face of the world.
Thanks to the opening of a number of archives that had remained secret until then, which can be cross-referenced with the testimonies of agents from all sides (Mikhail Gorbachev speaks for the first time about the invasion, for example), this film offers a unique interpretation of history and allows us to understand how we arrived at such a confrontation between the Muslim world and the Western world.
