Synopsis
The silence and mystery surrounding the tragic events that took place between 1957 and 1971 in Cameroon perpetuate a suffering that often has dramatic consequences for the families on the victims of the independence struggle. Executed by the Cameroonian authorities in 1971, freedom fighter Ernest Ouandié left behind a daughter he never knew: Ernestine. Through her testimony, Leaf In The Wind looks into the repercussions of colonialism, leaving us with the question: is sacrifice the price of freedom?
