Synopsis
Immigrant women also age and they age in silence. An exile without return for some, settled in a permanent provisional arrangement, a definitive break with the native land for others. Erased from the landscape, from memories, Teresa, Rosette, Esther, Éliane, Fatma, Alexandra, and Mama Fanta have lived several lives. In spite of the difficulties encountered, the weight of traditions, and insurmountable suffering, they led their daughters on the path to school and emancipation.
