Synopsis
With its red sandstone cliffs, white sand beaches, and dunes, the Magdalen Islands archipelago, in the heart of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, is a paradise for photographers, seals, and seabirds. Today, this group of fifteen islands is threatened with extinction, as Canada is warming twice as fast as the rest of the planet. The 12,000 inhabitants and public authorities are mobilized to protect their land. In the Magdalen Islands, climate change is already a reality.
