Synopsis
In Trump's America, three homeless women reinvent themselves. While Alyssa, a single mother, counts fake $20 bills in a rap video, Lorraine emancipates herself from her Freddie with the help of wigs. Michelle finally understands how her painful past pushed her into the arms of a violent man. For five years, in front of the camera, these women forged by adversity draw us into their turbulent lives, where femininity, parenthood, and domestic violence are deconstructed.
