Synopsis
In a medium-sized Chinese city frozen in time, a middle-aged man finds love and chooses to live it openly. A few streets away, a female couple is looking for a man for one of them to marry so they can have a child. Behind these two love stories, passion intertwines with identity confusion, challenging the norms and silences of a society marked by the dogmas of communism.
