Synopsis
This VR video is the first prototype of “Fathoming”, a larger artistic project in development. By inviting viewers to abandon the constraints of the human-built world, Fathoming stages a transformative
plunge beyond the terrestrial surface as a metaphor for expansion and the pursuit of a new nature. Fathoming decouple the viewer
from conventional narrative structures, thereby testing a deeper engagement with the medium and its artistic explorations. With
no storyline or guiding voice, Fathoming dissolves the boundaries between the audience and the environment, creating a profound sense of immersion and presence.
