Synopsis
“43° 43’ 23.7972” / 7° 21’ 32.3022” explores the intersection of human and artificial, reality and illusion, inspired by Nietzsche’s ancient path in Eze and the question, “What would Nietzsche have thought of Virtual Reality?”. Using Google Earth’s satellite visualization system, the film simulates a fly-through of Nietzsche’s route, reflecting on themes of illusion and simulation. Incorporating AI-generated voices and monologues, it contrasts Nietzschean nihilism with contemporary digital worlds, challenging perceptions of authenticity and the evolving relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence.
