Synopsis
Nismet is fifteen. Years ago, her father left, and her mother Najoua has been raising her alone, with the occasional presence of another man, Denis. One night, Nismet has to fight off Denis’ sexual advances. To protect her mother, she keeps it to herself. After her relationship with Denis deteriorates, Nismet runs away. This four-episode series spans the course of Nismet’s first years of independence, from the disorderly rebelliousness of her mistreated youth to the beginning of her adult life.
