Synopsis
Julen has had one passion since childhood: the ocean. He's a real waterman. He enjoys surfing, bodysurfing, longboarding, kneeboarding, and lifesaving. A top-level lifesaving athlete, he has been involved in the sport for almost sixteen years. French, European, and world champion, he has expressed his talent and love for the sport on many occasions. Arthur Picard, his childhood friend and long-time training partner, followed his 2020/2021 sporting season. Through victories, defeats, joys, and disappointments: enter the daily life of Julen, who dedicates his life to this sport and to the ocean. You'll discover a sport that is little-known to the general public, but which is nonetheless brimming with talented athletes conveying real human values. This film is a tribute to the ocean, to lifesaving sport, and to its community.
