Synopsis
On ne tue jamais par amour is a short, dance-based documentary that tells the story of domestic violence and denounces the failure of the public response to take real account of victims' psychological suffering. Anonymous victims' voices provide shocking insights into the mechanics of violence, deciphered by psychologists. Empowerment, domination, fear, physical and psychological suffering, and despair characterize these violent relationships, often experienced as a dark echo of childhood traumas linked to an already violent family model. Through dance, Kevin Gay creates a striking contrast, offering a powerful interpretation of domestic violence.

Tender Age, by Julien Gaspar-Oliveri
Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
