Synopsis
In 1986, two winegrower brothers, Yann (50 years old) and Luc (40 years old) Archant, owners of a large estate in Julianas, live a withdrawn existence and have no other passion than their vineyard, their land and their wine production. Even if they are both very different, a very strong bond unites them, Yann having given up his career as a professional boxer at the death of their parents - when he was only twenty years old - in order to take care of Luc and take care of the vineyard.
One evening in March, when Yann returns from an evening with his neighbor and friend Dolores, he discovers a damaged car in the ditch; he stops by the side of the road to see if anyone needs help and finds a beautiful young woman in her thirties in the vehicle: shock has knocked her unconscious. He takes her to the estate to help her. When she wakes up, the young woman says her name is Laura. Yann invites her to stay with him while her car is repaired.
She will then discover a world that was until now totally unknown to her: a world that lacks comfort, modernism, «civilization»; but also a world where people are more «real», more sincere and more whole than those she used to rub shoulders with in her stilted and artificial Parisian environment... Left to herself, in the grip of her torments, to her doubts, Laura will gradually appreciate the rustic Archant brothers and despite herself feel attracted by the fierce Luc...
