Synopsis
Through gentle culinary gestures, Saveurs d’Exil reveals the scars of a buried memory.
Through moments spent cooking with her Vietnamese grandmother, director Anne-Solenne Hatte unravels the thread of family silence to uncover a forgotten political history: that of a grandfather who was once at the heart of the South Vietnamese regime.
