Synopsis
Paris, May 1871. The great writer and journalist Jules Vallès has to escape the bloody repression that falls on the Commune, an insurrection that he has just courageously led. Risking death, he emigrates to Belgium and then to England. In the dark and endless reclusion of his London exile, the main women in his life are outlined in chiaroscuro.
