Synopsis
Antoine, a dejected loner, spends his days in a café on the Place de Clichy watching people. Every day, he sees a woman he calls Albertine come out of the subway and go to the movies. Today, he gets up the nerve to speak to her. Thus began Antoine's down-going.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
