Synopsis
Nothing can be changed until it is faced. - James Baldwin
This is what photographer Stefano De Luigi undertook to do during the three weeks he was aboard the Aquarius, the SOS Méditerranée boat that was still rescuing migrants in the Mediterranean up until a few weeks ago.
A personal account of one of the most horrifying campaigns that the Aquarius has undergone since 2016, when its humanitarian mission began.
