Participating in social and cultural life is a right. For deaf and hard-of-hearing people, accessing culture is nevertheless very difficult, if not impossible. In particular, many of them cannot go to the cinema, unless the films screening have subtitles. Ten percent of Europeans have hearing disabilities, which makes accessiblity a major social problem. In this film, Paul Vecchiali explains why the subtitle issue seems so important to him.
