Synopsis
How can we make education rhyme with the pleasure of transmitting knowledge? How can young people excluded from the education system, those who have fallen by the wayside, become creative beings, with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn? How can high schools and schools became places where freedom combines with responsibility, where acquiring knowledge goes hand in hand with learning about life in society? Edgar Morin and the film director Abraham Ségal find concrete responses by discovering invigorating experiments, by reaching out to students and teachers. Enseignez à vivre ! puts into perspective Edgar Morin's ideas about another form of education and initiates innovative practices in five public schools: the creativity and vitality of young people echo the philosopher's complex and generous thinking.
