Synopsis
Madeleine and her husband are acrobats who travel from town to town to present a spectacular number in which Madeleine is ejected from a cannon miles into the air, watched by admiring specators. Their domestic life, where every day resembles the last, is less captivating, however. One morning, Madeleine makes a surprising decision which will change the course of their lives. But even though time passes, the love uniting the couple never fades.
