Synopsis
Sixty-five-year-old Abu Shadi, a divorced teacher in Nazareth, prepares for his daughter's wedding. In a month's time, he'll be living alone. Shadi, his architect son, who has been living in Rome for years, returns home for a few days to help him distribute the wedding invitations, from hand to hand, as the Palestinian custom of Wajib demands. While visits to family and friends follow one after the other, tensions between father and son rise to the surface and put their differing views about life to the test.
