Twenty-eight-year-old Soraya, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, decides to return to live in Palestine, the country from which her family was exiled in 1948.
A soon as she arrives in Ramallah, Soraya tries to retrieve the money her grandparents froze in a bank account in Jaffa, but she comes up against the bank's refusal. She then crosses paths with Emad, a young Palestinian who, unlike herself, wants only one thing: to leave forever.
To escape the constraints linked to the country's situation, but also to win their freedom, Soraya and Emad must take their destiny into their own hands, even if it means breaking the law. In this race against life, they will lead us in the footsteps of their history in a forgotten, lost Palestine.
