Synopsis
What is the mission undertaken by Alain Ducasse, the boy from Les Landes in south-western France who is known today as one of the world's most famous chefs and cooking mentors. Could it be to find the essence of flavor? Or a humanistic and socially responsible approach to gastronomy? What can a man who seems to have everything still search for? With 23 restaurants around the world and 18 Michelin stars, Ducasse is constantly creating new locations that are in tune with our era, building schools, and pushing the boundaries of his profession toward new horizons. His curiosity is limitless. He tirelessly continues to travel the world, because to him, cuisine is an infinite universe. This man, a public figure who nonetheless guards his privacy closely, accepted to be filmed for almost two years, thus opening the door into his perpetually evolving world.
